The Chinese women's team, consists of Yang Yang A, Yang Yang S, Wang Chunlu and Sun Dandan, had succeeded in defending the team champion in the World Short Track Speed Skating Team Championship held in Hague, the Netherlands.

The Canadian Men's team won the title of men's team competition with 46 points, South Korea got the runner-up, the third place belonged to Italy. The defending champion, the Chinese team got only the fourth place with 28 points.
