China Basic Education website (www.cbe21.com), initiated and invested by Beijing Normal University and the Basic Education Curriculum Material Development Center under the Ministry of Education, has begun trial run today.

Available are seven columns on the website, including education news, policy and law, reform of discipline, education information, mental health, counsel on enrollment and education stationery. Opened with these are also six online channels including "Student Online", "Teachers Online", "Parents Online", "Principals Online", "Preschool Education" and "Long-distance Education" according to the taste and demand of people concerned.
