Li Yining, famous Chinese economist, told the journalist yesterday that entrusted by Peking University, the Guanghua Management College had set up the Peking University Network Research Center, and online enrollment of MBA students will start this year. The Bei Da Network Research Center is composed of the computer department, Law Department, Economic Studies Center and the Management College of Peking University (Bei Da). It aims to create a world-famous Chinese network economic research and education organization, so that Peking University will become a research and education center in this field. It will promote the economic theoretical and law studies related to China's network economy, providing suggestions for the formulation of related Chinese economic policies and laws. Besides, it will help train first-class talents in Internet business circles and academic leaders in the network economy. Li Yingning added that sinoC KO.com, an MBA (Master of Business Administration) educational website, is jointly established by Guanghua Management College and Zongheng Company of Peking University will be opened in the first half of this year. A large knowledge community will be set up, which includes such contents as online MBA campus, knowledge management consultation, business review of Peking University, planning for individual professional career and knowledge and enterprise operation cases database. The website will give expressions to the characteristics of online MBA education featuring individuality, interaction and readiness. The website will start enrolling students this year. People at the white collar stratum who want to acquire fresh knowledge will enjoy the brand-new education and study methods brought about by Internet.
