CPPCC Standing Committee Meeting Ends

The eighth meeting of the Standing Committee of the National Committee of the Chinese People 's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) came to an end in Beijing Tuesday.

Li Ruihuan, chairman of the CPPCC National Committee, presided over today's closing session of the three-day meeting which made final preparations for the upcoming Third Plenary Session of the CPPCC National Committee.

The three-day meeting passed the agenda for the coming annual session of the CPPCC National Committee and a number of reports and proposals including the draft on the revision of the Constitution of the CPPCC.
