Wild South China Tigers Leave Traces on Mt. Yushan

The Jiangxi Forestry Bureau announced that at least five wild South China tigers - a male and a mother tiger with three cubs have appeared on Mt. Yushan in Yihuang County, Jiangxi Province.

Following a grown-up female tiger that was found on Mt. Yushan last July 4, three cubs have been discovered by their trails left in the mountain, according to reports by concerned departments under the State Forestry Bureau.

So far, a 58,000 ha. South China Tiger Reserve has been established in Yihuang County and on this there will be a large-size reserve to be built for South China tigers in the region.
