Hungarian Foreign Minister Reaffirms "One China" Policy

Hungarian Foreign Minister Martonyi Janos reaffirmed commitment to the "one China" policy when meeting with Chinese Ambassador Zhao Xidi on Friday.

Martonyi told Zhao that the Hungarian government will adhere to the "one China" policy and will not have any official relations with Taiwan. This policy of Hungary "has remained unchanged and will not change," he said.

During the talks, the two sides expressed satisfaction with the development of friendly and cooperative relations between the two countries, and said both sides will continue to work for the development of such relations in all fields.
