20-Year-Old Foreign-Invested Enterprise In China

China now has 340,000 foreign-invested enterprises involving a total of 300 billion U.S. dollars in foreign investment.

These latest figures show that the country has become one of the world's most attractive markets and overseas investment destinations

China's first foreign-invested enterprise, an airline food catering joint venture was established 20 years ago. Since then, such enterprises have become an important part of the national economy, making up half of China's total import and export volume and employing some 10 percent of China's entire non-agricultural workers.

Besides money, overseas funds have also brought about new business conception and management methods to China.
