Wang Yingfan was appointed permanent representative and ambassador of the People's Republic of China to the United Nations, replacing Qin Huasun. Zhao Xidi was appointed China's ambassador to the Republic of Hungary, replacing Chen Guoyan. Wang Qiliang was appointed China's ambassador to the Kingdom of Denmark, replacing Yang Hexiong. Zhen Jianguo was appointed China's ambassador to the Hellenic Republic, replacing Yang Guangsheng. Zhao Zhenyu was appointed China's ambassador to the Independent State of Papua New Guinea, replacing Zhang Pengxiang.
