Wu Meets U.S. Secretary of Transportation

Chinese Vice-Premier Wu Bangguo Thursday expressed the hope that China and the U.S. will further increase friendly relations and cooperation in the transportation sector including civil aviation so as to advance all-round bilateral exchanges and cooperation.

Wu made this remark during his meeting with visiting U.S. secretary of Transportation Rodney Slater and his party, who are in Beijing at the invitation of the Civil Aviation Administration of China after attending an aviation exhibition in Singapore
