Zhang Wannian Stressing on PLA's Web Technology Construction

Vice Chairman of the CPC Central Military Commission Zhang Wannian lately said that the Chinese army should expedite its web technology construction. Zhang made this remark at a high-tech symposium of the Commission held in Beijing on February 23.

Zhang pointed out at the symposium that the great significance and impacts of development of web technology in China's military, economic and cultural fields should be fully understood in accelerating the Chinese army's web construction with characteristics of its own.

According to Zhang, web technology breakthroughs should be speedily made for bringing about full automation of PLA's command.

In addition, Zhan Wannian demanded the whole army to make efforts to study science and high technology for making most of the web technology.
