China to Drill a Deep Scientific Hole

Acting on a "Look into the Earth Interior Telescope" project prepared at a site near the Yellow Sea, China is now in the process of drilling a 5000-meter deep hole to peep into the interior of the earth. This is the first scientific onshore hole to be drilled in China. The project will last 5 years.
