China's Rui Naiwei won the Women's World Go Chess Championship for the fourth consecutive time by defeating South Korean prodigy Cho Hye-yon in the final game of the best-of-three tournament in Seoul on Friday. The 37-year-old Rui, who had been the winner for the last three championships, rallied from one game deficit to score a 2-1 aggregate win and secured 30 million won (some $25,000) prize money. Cho, at her tender age of 14, shocked the go chess world by outwitting Rui in the first game last Monday. |
