The Chinese Ping-Pong Team ended three rounds team competitions of "Shantou Information Port Cup" warm-up game for the 45th World Table Tennis Championship.

In the men's team competition, Group A formed by Kong Linghui, Liu Guoliang, Wang Liqin and Yan Sen beat Group D and Group C 3:0 respectively. Group B composed of Ma Lin, Liu Guozheng, Tan Ruiwu and Wang Jianjun also won two matches, in spite of losing two scores to Group C.

In the women's team competition, the obviously superior Group A composed of Wang Nan, Li Ju, Zhang Yining and Li Nan trounced Group C and Group D easily 3:0. But Group B of Sun Jin, Zhang Yingying, Yang Ying and Li Jia lost to Group C 1:3 and one game to Group D, producing an unexpected result.

The First round of the double competition was held on the morning of Feb 15. Zhang Yong and Feng Zhe defeated Wang Fei and Jin Enhua 2:0, taking the lead in entering the top four of men's double. Li Qiumei and Li Jia thrashed Lin Ling 2:1, Li Nan, Sun Jin and Yang Ying beat Bai Yang and Niu Jianfeng 2:0, entering the top four of women's double.

All the games are to be ended this evening.
