A ceremony to mark the publication of a painting album by Kong Weike, a seventy-eighth generation descendent of Confucius, was held Friday in Beijing. More than thirty famous artists and experts attended the ceremony. Sun Molong, a famous artist, said Kong's paintings captured the spirit of Confucius and his teachings. Wang Yong, a researcher at the Academy of Arts of China, said that Kong's paintings combine man's pursuit of harmony with nature.
