Japan's Chief Cabinet Secretary Mikio Aoki said Tuesday that hackers have raided two government agency Web sites, forcing them to suspend access to the sites. The Science and Technology Agency's site had a "derogatory message" in English and a link to an overseas porn site, while theManagement and Coordination Agency's homepage had a message in English saying Japanese have "no courage" to face the "truth of history," government officials said. It was the first time a Japanese government Web site had been penetrated, they said. Japan's Management and Coordination Agency officials said they noticed the raid on their Web site Tuesday morning, while Science and Technology Agency officials said they noticed changes in theirWeb site Monday. Both agencies alerted the Metropolitan Police Department's high-tech crime center, and assigned computer experts to find out how their Web sites were penetrated. (Xinhua) |
