US Assistant Secretary of State on South Asia Karl Indefurth Friday said that no decision has yet been taken on President Bill Clinton's visit to Pakistan during his expected tour to South Asia. Speaking to reporters at a briefing here at the end of his two-day official visit to Pakistan, Inderfurth said Clinton intended to travel to South Asia. "We are looking at his schedule but no decision has yet been taken" on his visit to Pakistan, he added. Inderfurth arrived in Islamabad Thursday and held a string of meetings with Pakistan Chief Executive General Pervaiz Musharraf and senior officials in his government on the issues of Pakistan-U.S. relations, terrorism, nuclear non-proliferation and regional security. |
