The two earthquakes that jolted southwest China's Yunnan Province Saturday morning did not damage the nearby tourist destinations.

Dali, a scenic spot only some 70 kilometers away from the epicenter of the earthquakes, is lucky to see that its three towers, a monument and a Buddhist temple built during the Tang Dynasty (6178-907) and the Five Dynasties (907-960) are still intact.

The railway and highway between Kunming, capital city of Yunnan Province, and Dali City, remain intact while communications service is still available.
