An exhibition of paintings,calligraphic works and collections of three emperors of the Qing Dynasty (1644-1911), Kangxi, Yongzheng and Qianlong, opened in the Macao Museum in Macao on December 12.

It is the first public show of the rare imperial relics in this region. All the 120 exhibits, including 50 paintings, nine calligraphic works and the 60 sets of collections, come from the Palace Museum in Beijing, according to Pei Huanlu, a deputy curator of the Palace Museum.

The exhibition is aimed at displaying the grandeur of the Chinese nation as well as the long-time Sino-foreign cultural exchanges, the official said.

Nearly 1,000 local people and overseas tourists visited the show today.
