Chinese archaeologists have found some 54 historical relics dating back to the Yuan dynasty (1271-1368) in Longhua County in Hebei Province.

The relics unearthed from a cache in a cave in the Yanshan Mountains include textiles embroidery and bone artifacts.

Textile and embroidery articles include cotton, hemp, leather and silk, shoes, hats, gowns, coats, bedcovers, purse, bags and ornaments.

Among the textiles, there are two pieces of rare brocade and two delicate and brightly colored horsetail-knitted veils.

The discovery provides valuable clues to history and culture during the Yuan dynasty.
