The '99 Shanghai International Ocean Development Exhibition is set to run from November 28 to December 1 in Shanghai.

On display will be advanced technology and equipment in areas such as offshore drilling, marine resources development, and marine environmental protection.

About 200 companies engaged in ocean development in some 10 countries have registered to participate in the exhibition, said an official with the organizing committee, adding that more than 20,000 people are expected to visit the show.
