Chinese President Jiang Zemin, also general secretary of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee and chairman of the Central Military Commission, will lead a government delegation at the Macao handover ceremony on December 20.

Members of the delegation include state leaders, senior officials of the CPC Central Committee, the National People's Congress, the State Council, the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, the Central Military Commission, chief executives of the Hong Kong and Macao special administrative regions, representatives of non-Communist parties and other non-party groups and individuals.
