Wan Guoquan, vice-chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), met with a Libyan friendship delegation on November 9.

The delegation is headed by El-mehdi A. Elkhabat, head of the Department of People's Organizations of the General People's Committee of Foreign Communication and International Cooperation of Libya.

Wan said that China and Libya hold identical views on many international issues and both oppose interference in the internal affairs of other countries under the pretext of human rights.

El-mehdi A. Elkhabat said he believes the cooperation between the two countries in the international field will be further enhanced.

The Libyan delegation is here at the invitation of the Chinese People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries.
