The world-renowned Kirov Ballet arrived in Shanghai on November 9, and will present the classic ballet Swan Lake on November 11, 12 and 13.

The ballet was performed in Beijing earlier this week.

The director of the Kirov expressed the hope of furthering exchanges with their Chinese counterparts.

It has been learned that Shanghai will invite the ballet company to perform in Shanghai again next year.

Established in 1742, the Kirov Ballet is one of the world's premier ballet companies.
