China beat Croatia 3-0 in the women's World Cup volleyball tournament on November 7.

The set scores were 25-22, 27-25, 26-24 in favor of the Chinese spikers.

The Chinese team, which had lost to Cuba and Brazil in an identical score of 3-1, still keep alive their hope of qualifying for the 2000 Sydney Olympic Games.

The top three finishers of the World Cup tournament qualify for the Olympic Games.
