Cuban Leader Acknowledges Expanding Relations With China
Cuban leader Fidel Castro said Friday that his country's relations with China are improving as bilateral cooperation deepens in many areas.
The Cuban government, Fidel Castro said in Havana at the Palace of Revolution in meeting with Chinese Defense Minister Chi Haotian, gives a high priority to expanding its ties with China.
Besides topics regarding Cuba-China relations, the two also exchanged views on various international issues.
Earlier in the day, Cuban Minister of the Revolutionary Armed Forces Raul Castro met Chi and expressed his country's willingness to further step up friendly relations and cooperation with China in all fields.
