Badminton World Grand Prix Finals Starts

  The badminton World Grand Prix finals at the national indoor stadium of Brunei started on February 24. Most Chinese players who were in court beat their rivals except men's single player Luo Yigang and women's single Zhou Mi lost their game.

  According to sources of the International Badminton Association, the total prize of the Finals amounted to US$300 thousand, a new record in the history of world badminton match.

  The match rule of the Finals is different from that of open tournament. Single players are divided into 4 groups for preliminary match, the first one of each group will enter the semi-final; double players are divided into two groups for preliminary match, the first two pairs in each group will be the top four of the Finals.
