Application Time for 45th World Table Tennis Championship Postponed 　　According to sources of International Table Tennis Association (ITTA), the Standing Committee of the ITTA listened to the detailed report on the progress of preparations for the 45th World Table Tennis Championship by the vice-chairman of the organizing committee. The Championship is to be held in Belgrade, Yugoslavia from April 26 to May 9. The ITTA expressed appreciation to the efforts made by the organizing committee for making success of the coming match. 　　Depending on the result of the Rambouillet talks on Kosovo issue and the positive report from the organizing committee of the Championship, the Standing Committee decided to postpone the deadline of application to March 22 and the lot draw of team competition will be held on March 25. 　　The ITTA will decide finally if any change of host site might take place after the talks above mentioned would be resumed, but no later than the date of lot draw of team competition. 　　The ITTA showed great concern for the development of situation. But the Standing Committee of the ITTA hopes the Kosovo crisis will be resolved swiftly and peacefully.
