Yeltsin Back to Business After Recovery
Russian President Boris Yeltsin has recovered from a gastric ulcer and is preparing to meet foreign leaders, his spokesman Dmitry Yakushkin said on Wednesday.
Yeltsin returned to work in the Kremlin on Wednesday and met with his aides, he said.
On Thursday, the president is scheduled to meet with Chinese Premier Zhu Rongji, who arrived Wednesday on a four-day official visit.
Yakushkin said Russia deems the visit as the continuation of the Russia-China strategic cooperation partnership. During the visit, both sides are likely to fix the date of Yeltsin's trip to China in the year.
