Primakov: Russia-China Strategic Cooperation has Solid Foundation
The current Russia-China relations have not only reached the level of mutual-trust, but also have a solid foundation of strategic cooperation in the 21st century.
Russian Prime Minister Yevgeny Primakov made the remarks yesterday in Moscow while he accepted an interview of China's Economic Daily.
The status quo of Russia-China relationship is a key factor for maintaining world stability and its development toward multi-polar setup, Primakov said.
The rapid development of the two nations' relations resulting from the good mechanism established between Russia and China, such as the regular meeting of the two states and government leaders, he pointed out.
Strengthening economic cooperation is the keynote to develop relations with China, Primakov said, adding that the fourth regular meeting of the two premiers will definitely create a good environment for the development of Russia-China economic cooperation.
