Infrastructure Construction Spurs Shuangcheng City's Economy ¡¡¡¡Shuangcheng city in Heilongjiang Province has been engaged in infrastructure construction in recent years to drive up economic growth. As a result, building material, decoration, transportation and catering businesses have all been benefited.. The local economy was driven up one percentage point. ¡¡¡¡Construction of business buildings and small communities for residents have sucked up several hundred million yuan from the residents and 350 million yuan from local businesses. These funds were used for infrastructural construction. The residents spent 110 million yuan to buy homes and furniture and for house decoration.
