Cambodian PM Arrives in Tokyo for Aid
Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Sen arrived in Tokyo Tuesday on a six-day visit to Japan and is scheduled to attend an international conference of Cambodia's donor countries and agencies.
During his visit, Hun Sen will meet with his Japanese counterpart Keizo Obuchi, Foreign Minister Masahiko Komura and other Japanese government and business leaders.
On February 25 and 26, Hun Sen will attend the third Consultative Group (CG) meeting on aid for Cambodia. He will explain his new government's reform plan at the meeting and ask for US$1.3 billion of aid over the next three years to implement the plan.
