Ivanov: Develop Russia-China Relations
Russia will actively develop its relations with the Asia-Pacific countries, especially the relationship with China, Russian Foreign Minister Igor Ivanov said in an article published Tuesday, adding that Russia will make great efforts to establish a strategic cooperative partnership of equity and confidence oriented toward the 21st century.
The Russian side has carried out active policy on China in recent years, so that the two countries' traditional relations have been resumed and a way has been paved for the rapid development of cooperation in the fields of politics, economics and trade and military technology, Ivanov said.
It is very important for Russia and China to set up a principled stand for the world order in the future, the article stressed.
