China and Russia to Expand Economic Cooperation
Five agreements have been singed during the third session of the Committee for Sino-Russian Prime Ministers Regular Meetings held in Moscow February 23.
Chinese State Councilor Wu Yi and Russian First Deputy Prime Minister Yuri Maslyukov co-chaired this conference.
The deals include two contracts on real estate purchases, two
on assembling of television sets in Russia from Chinese parts and components.
Both Wu and Maslyukov were satisfied with the development of the strategic cooperative partnership. They pointed out that Sino-Russian economic and trade cooperation is of great potentiality, which is now behind the development of the two nations' political relations.
In order to boost the economic and trade cooperation, China and Russia should perfect laws and regulations, comply with the market law and adopt other strong measures.
The two sides also exchanged views on their cooperation in the fields of oil, natural gas and high technology.
