176 Academicians Write Popular Science

ĦĦĦĦA publishing plan, called Popular Science Series by Academicians, started recently in Beijing. At present, there are already 176 academicians who have signed publishing contracts with the publishers, Tsinghua University Press and Jinan University Press. It is the first time in China to organize such a number of academicians to write books on popular science.

ĦĦĦĦThe plan received warm response from academicians. Nobel Prize winner Tseng-dao Lee is also in the name list of the authors. The subjects of the books will be on world frontier science and hot spots of Chinese economic development, like Zhou Guangzhao's 100 Knotty Scientific Problems in the 21st Century, Tseng-dao Lee's Symmetry and Asymmetry.
