Computer Network Boosts Rural Economy in Guangxi
Peasants are using computer networking to get information, sign contracts and promote sales in Guangxi.
Peasants signed more than 200 farming and sideline products contracts in the last two years in Guiding city in Guangxi, adding over 3 million yuan to the income of the local peasants. Fruit peasants and those growing vegetables in Nanning, Beihai, Liuzhou and Tianyang have free access to the computer networks to do business and reap hefty profit.
