Short as his life was, he had created a lofty image of himself as a Communist. 　　All heroes are similar, but Li Xiangqun's particularity lies in the fact that he was born in the same year of the inception of the reform and opening policy; in the process of which he had grown up into a new man. At ordinary time, he rescued the endangered and succored the poor, and took pleasure in helping others, at crucial moment, he stepped forward and volunteered to help.
