High-tech Industry Reaches a New Scale in Beijing ˇˇˇˇWith the increase rate kept at 30 percent to 40 percent for several years, high-tech industries in Beijing are entering a phase of rapid development. In order to support the development of high-tech industries, Beijing Municipality has formulated related policies, laws, regulations and managerial methods, which help create a positive, favorable policy environment for the development of high-tech industries. At present, Beijing has set up a comprehensive innovation supporting system, including 33 high-tech laboratories, 52 experimental bases and 13 engineering technical centers.
