National Library Opens during Spring Festival

ĦĦĦĦThe National Library (Beijing Library) in Beijing swang its doors wide open to the readers during the Spring Festival.

ĦĦĦĦFrom the first to the third day of the festival, the library received a total of 14000 readers/time-- 2827 readers/time on the first day (February 16), 5161 on the second day (February 17) and 6667 on the third day (February 18). Two steps were added this year to facilitate people to reader in the library -- anyone may go to the library by showing his or her ID card; middle school students may go there by their student ID cards and pupils and preschool children may go there with their parents.
