Hefty Funds Spent for Resettling Flood-Victims 　　The State Development Planning Commission has earmarked 3.5 billion yuan for the resettlement of the flood-victims. 1.49 Billion yuan had been appropriated at the end of last year. One billion yuan was appropriated in January and the remaining one billion yuan will defrayed in the first half of this year. 　　Government departments have been designated to provide funds for resettling 0.94 million flood-victims and 80% of the victims had moved into their new homes prior to the Spring Festival. 　　The victims are in Hunan, Hubei, Jiangxi and Anhui provinces in the middle- and lower reaches of the Yangtze River.
