Marion Jones Won Jesse Owens Award
Marion Jones has won the 1998 Jesse Owens Award, the world's top one for track and field athletes. She vowed to break the 100-meter and 200-meter run world records so as to have a large globe golden cup in her hands.
Jones will strive to win 4 gold medals in the events of 100-meter, 200-meter, long jump and 4x100-meter relay in the forthcoming world track and field championship in Spain. She hopes that she would win 5 gold medals in 2000 Olympic Games.
