20% Bulk Cement Demanded ĦĦĦĦA National Bulk Cement Work Meeting is being called today in Beijing. It is reported from the meeting that by demand of the 9th Five-year Plan and state perspective plans for economic development by 2010 a 20% of bulk cement will have to be produced and used when market management is strengthened. By statistics in 1998, there had been put on market sale a total of 84.3229 million tons of bulk cement by cement producers in China to show a 16.4 % growth over 11.1243 million tons in 1996. Also, it is further reported that bulk cement exports last year run to 6.58 million tons, an 80.3% growth over 44.19% of cement export total by the country in 1997.
