Exhibition on Achievements of Public Welfare in China ĦĦĦĦA large pictorial exhibition, including Corridor of Contemporary Philanthropist Entrepreneurs and Retrospection of Public Welfare in China, was staged on February 8 on CCTV Television Tower in Beijing. On the occasion of the exhibition, a grand symposium in retrospection and outlook of China's public welfare was also held in the Great Hall of the People. The pictures on display demonstrated the warm support to various public welfare programs by 100 or so Chinese enterprises in recent years. The exhibits conveyed the message that public welfare affairs should not depend merely on the government. The enterprises at different levels can also be the backbone of the business. When life becomes more diversified, the citizens must also have the responsibility to take part in public welfare.
