Double Gain of Tree Planting ˇˇˇˇRecently, an aid-the-poor project of planting ecological economic shelter forest has been launched in China. The project will be undertaken on the upper and middle reaches of China's Changjiang, Zhujiang and Huanghe rivers, especially the areas suffering from a seriously deteriorated ecological environment and poverty stricken such as Guizhou and Shanxi provinces. Some species of trees that grow fast and have economic value will be the main choices of the shelter system.
