*Russian President Boris Yeltsin spent some 100 minutes in the Kremlin Tuesday, firing four of his aides before heading back to his Barvikha sanatorium.
Yeltsin dismissed presidential advisors Sergei Krasavchenko, Emil Pain, Viktoria Mitina and Lyudmila Pikhoi in a major reorganization of the presidential administration.
The Kremlin said Yeltsin met his chief of staff Nikolai Bordyuzha and the two had discussed "current affairs" and arrived at several decisions on personnel changes.
*Russian Prime Minister Yevgeny Primakov and speaker of the State Duma (lower house of parliament) Gennady Seleznyov met Wednesday to discuss stabilization measures and payment of wage arrears.
Following their 40-minute talk, Seleznyov told the press that he had proposed holding a roundtable conference on the repayment of wages and their size.
Primakov backed the initiative, Seleznyov said, adding that the roundtable will likely be held after the president recovers from gastric ulcer.
Primakov and Seleznyov also discussed a budget for 2000. Primakov promised to submit a draft budget to the Duma by June 1, before the parliamentary elections this fall.
