CPPCC National Committee Holds Meeting on Convocation of Annual Session 　　The ninth meeting of the chairman and vice chairmen of the Ninth National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) was held in Beijing on January 29. 　　Participants suggested that the Second Session of the Ninth CPPCC National Committee be held on March 3. 　　Li Ruihuan, a member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and chairman of the CPPCC National Committee, chaired today's meeting. 　　Participants examined a draft of the decision on convening the second session of the Ninth CPPCC National Committee, and will submit the draft to the fourth meeting of the Standing Committee of the Ninth CPPCC National Committee scheduled to be held on February 27 for approval. 　　The meeting is also supposed to examine the draft of the work report of the Standing Committee of the Ninth CPPCC National Committee, and discuss issues concerning the second session of the Ninth CPPCC National Committee. 　　Also approved at today's meeting were the framework of the secretariat of the second session of the Ninth CPPCC National Committee and the list of the names of leading members and press spokesmen for the session.
