Qinghai Puts Tibetan Medicine on Market Sale
ĦĦĦĦTibetan medicine has great resources and commercial potential. But it had been long affected by the traditional way of handing down from master to apprentice in monasteries, following a primitive workshop method. After years' research researchers in Qinghai Tibetan Medicine Hospital found a new method of combining traditional brewing with the use of modern machine. On the basis of a pharmacy of the hospital they built up Qinghai Jinke Tibetan Medicine Factory in August 1995 and began to have medicine produced. With a species of cold resistant anti-hypoxia herb grown on the plateau as raw material the medicine is completely unpolluted and has been by now mass produced and put out in eight series and 500 varieties of products.
