China's Top Procurator Says Reception Days Must Continue

  Procurator-generals at all levels have received a total of 290,000 people at some 120,000 receptions, since China implemented the prosecutors reception days last year at which procurator-generals hear complaints from the public, the Supreme People's Procuratorate said on January 28.

  Han Zhubin, procurator-general of the Supreme People's Procuratorate, said the reception day system is an important way to improve their work through relying on the people, and the system will be adhered to in the future.

  He also required that procuratorates at all levels earnestly handle people's complaints and reports, and work diligently to settle their problems.
