China-Russia Cooperation Stressed ����The second plenary session of the China-Russia Friendship, Peace and Development Commission was held in Moscow yesterday. ����Pushing a healthy, stable Sino-Russian relationship to the new century is the common wish of the two peoples, and completely in line with the trend of world peace and development, Chinese President Jiang Zemin stressed in a letter of congratulation read by Chinese Ambassador Wu Tao to Russia. ����Jiang also affirmed the development of the China-Russia friendly relationship and expressed the hope that the commission will make new contribution to promoting the mutual understanding, friendship and cooperation of the two peoples. ����Russian President Boris Yeltsin highly appraised the important role played by the commission and said this meeting will be helpful for the two sides' more active participation in the process of mutually beneficial cooperation.
