China, Australia Sign Agreement on Eucalyptus Forest Expansion
����China and Australia have signed an agreement to proceed with a research project which aims to promote the expansion of eucalyptus reforestation in south China.
����Under the agreement, the Australian government will provide about 930,000 Australian dollars to China for this project.
����It is expected that as part of the agreement, which was signed Monday, eucalyptus forests will be expanded into the cooler climates of areas in Guangdong, Yunnan and Fujian provinces and the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region in China.
