Safety and Economic Efficiency Stressed

ĦĦĦĦSafety comes first when economic efficiency is stressed, this is the demand put forward by Wu Bangguo, member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and vice premier of the State Council at the All-China Civil Aviation Meeting called today in Beijing. Speaking at the meeting attended by civil aviation administrators from various parts of the country, Wu pointed out that great success has been achieved by China's civil aviation. However there still leaves much to do. Management has to be strengthened and intensive efforts are needed to see to it that overall control be practiced, good market order kept, unjust competition excluded, and great economic gain made, a heavy task that is facing all civil aviation administrators in China.
